Turkey Kebabs from Everyday Food Issue 69 Cooking in the Slow Lane

Cooking with my daughter is life in the slow lane for me. No fast, frozen or take-outs tonight. Honest to goodness food prep and grilling for us. Wonderful evening for the entire family!

The entire recipes calls for cabbage slaw which I did not do so here is the mustard sauce for turkey kebabs.

1/3 cup grainy mustard
1/3 cup malt vinegar
1/4 cup EVOO
1 tablespoon sugar
course salt & ground pepper

Large bowl whisk mustard, vinegar, EVOO & sugar, season with S & P. Transfer 1/2 cup to another bowl with turkey, toss cover and plave in fridge for 30 mins. The first bowl add cabbage, carrots and onion. Toss and season slaw with S & P.

Thread turkey onto skewers. Grill until cooked through any left over reserve for lunch packaged seperately from slaw.
