The Ready Market's Sour Cream Coffee Cake

3 tablespoon butter, softened
1/3 cup pecans, chopped
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup suagr
1/2 cup oil
3 eggs
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup of sourcream

Stir first butter, pecans and brown sugar in a bowl till crumbly, set aside. Beat vanilla, oil and eggs in a seperate bowl until smooth. Add mixture of flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt alertnately with sour cream, mixing well after each addition.


Layer butter and crumb mixture 1/2 cup at a time in greased tube pan. Bake at 350 degree for about 50 mins or until done.

The ready Market was a little shop in town, for small grocery items and candy. A place I often visitied everday after school. The happening spot for most kids in town during the 80's after school.
